Class Overview

Designed for students who have completed Needlepoint 101, this class focuses on expanding your stitching skills. We will move beyond basic tent stitches to explore beginner decorative patterns, texture, and the nuances of working with different stitch types.

What to Expect

During this three-hour session, we will work together on a sampler canvas designed to practice new techniques. You'll also leave with an exclusive Reverent Road hand-painted canvas design to continue your decorative stitch work.

What You'll Learn

• Foundation Review: Reading stitch diagrams and translating them to canvas.
• Decorative Stitches: Instruction and practice on 6 different stitch types to equip you for a variety of projects
• Texture & Dimension: Mastering French knots, understanding open stitches, and working with textured stitches
• Dissecting the Canvas: Learning how and when to choose decorative stitches for your projects and what makes a successful stitch for your canvas.
